Seriously, you guys, you all know that my family is a football family. We cheer for our favorite Dallas team every season and my husband cheers for his favorite Detroit team. You can just imagine when our teams played each other recently. It was a blast! Well, now we know what teams will be playing in the Big Game coming up, it’s time to start planning the party! Game day is a big deal for my family and I have a few game day hacks for you today that will give you less time in the kitchen and more time on the couch, cheering on your favorite team. Check out these deli wings and three sauce recipes and make your Big Game party a hit!
Every year, my dad has a big party for the Big Game and every year he picks up the fix’ins for sandwiches and chips, but everyone who is invited is asked to bring their favorite dishes and sides or drinks. And since everyone is invited (you included, seriously, the more the merrier!) there has become a friendly competition for who brings the best food and whose dish goes home the emptiest. Well, maybe not a real competition, but it’s at least fun to see what everyone chooses to bring. This year, I want to be a hit at the Big Game party.
So, you all know that I don’t cook and when I do, it’s something quick and easy, but it’s not necessarily game day worthy. Here’s my game day hack for being a star at the party without being a slave in the kitchen:
I headed to the deli to check out their deli wings. You can pick up the Boneless General Tso’s, Bone-in hot wings, Buffalo boneless, or the Pick 3 Bucket (two meats and a side for $12.88 or add $2 for three meats). I chose to get the Pick 3 Bucket and get three meats – Boneless General Tso’s, Bone-in hot wings, and chicken tenders. The wings are Tyson wings so you know they are good quality and always tasty!
Not that these wings need anything, but I know how much people love to dip a good wing in a great sauce. I tested out a few sauce recipes on my boys and they decided these three ranch recipes were the winners.
Spicy Ranch, Honey Ranch, Smoky Ranch
Dipping Sauce Recipes
What you’ll need:
Ranch dressing – just pick your favorite brand of original ranch dressing
Hot sauce – again, pick out your favorite (I used Tabasco sauce)
Honey – I just used a local honey, but you can buy your favorite brand
Liquid Smoke
What you’ll do:
In three separate small bowls, pour about a half cup of ranch dressing. In one bowl of ranch, drop about 10-15 drops of your hot sauce in and mix. In the second bowl, pour about a teaspoon of honey. In the third bowl, pour a few drops of liquid smoke (pour sparingly as this could be very strong). Mix the bowls and dip the wings.
It’s the sauces that sometimes make the treat memorable. My husband and three older kids are huge wings fans!
Mmmm, I’m a sucker for a good batch of wings! And who can resist a yummy dipping sauce?
I’m eating a salad right now, and totally drooling over these wings! They look so good! I love that you can just grab them and go! So easy! #client

Those wings look so good! For me the best thing about wings is dipping them so I love that you have a variety of them.
