The Easiest Bark Recipe Ever {plus 20+ Holiday Treats recipes}

You all know that I’m no whiz in the kitchen so if I’m going to make something, it better be easy. Well, I’m sure you know how easy Bark recipes can be, but this one is the absolute easiest bark recipe ever.
So, bark…it’s one of those holiday treats that can go with anything. You can make it any flavor you want, any color you want, and put just about anything you want in it. My husband loves everything peanut butter so I wanted to make him a peanut butter bark while he was down with the flu this week. I was at the store picking up pretzels, Reese’s pieces, peanuts, candy to make it festive when I had an epiphany (or maybe I just saw the trail mix) and that is where I came up with the idea to make the easiest bark recipe ever.
What you’ll need:
1 pkg Almond Bark (or the candy coating of your choosing – Howard mentioned that he would have even loved chocolate better)
1 bag of Peanut-butter Trail Mix (or your favorite trail mix)
Decorating sprinkles to match your holiday
Cookie sheet (I used 11 x 13)
Parchment paper
What you’ll do:
Melt the candy coating or Almond Bark according to the package instructions. I put mine in the microwave for one minute, stirred, then another minute, and it was ready to pour. Put a piece of parchment paper across your cookie sheet and pour the candy coating/Almond bark over the paper. Sprinkle in a fair amount of Trail Mix to your desired amount. I wanted the white to show really well so I only used about 1/4 of a large bag of trail mix. Next time, I would probably use about 1/2 of the bag. Sprinkle with holiday themed sprinkles if desired. Let cool in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to one hour. Break into pieces and enjoy! I made a few treat bags so I can pass them out to family or at work…and so we wouldn’t eat the whole thing!
Now that you know my little secret to the easiest bark recipe ever, here are a 20+ holiday treats recipes that will also sweeten your holidays.
