From Frazzled to Super Mom with a Tmobile Data Plan
This post about how I went from frazzled to super mom, featuring the Trio Tablet with a Tmobile data plan, has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions, photos, and stories are my own. #TabletTrio #CollectiveBias
A few weeks ago, Howard and I were outside talking about our days and we saw that the neighbors were outside cleaning up their yard. Howard made the comment that he loves the way Mrs. M has her family so organized and efficient. Mr. M was our baseball coach last season and Mrs. M was so organized as Team Mom. She always knows where her family needs to be and her children are so well-behaved and accustomed to structure in their home. This made me think…a lot…about my own Frazzled Mom style.
I work a full time job during the day, blog at night, work for two to three people at a time as a virtual assistant, and manage about two blogging campaigns at any given time. I am very organized when it comes to my work and my blogging, but my home life…it’s a mess! I am constantly frazzled about homework or dinner or appointments for the three of us. I cringe at the hour that I have to sit at a sports practice because that is an hour that I have to sit and not do work. I know, I know…I should be enjoying my son playing, and I am, but you know how it is once they start practicing. My boy doesn’t want me in his business when he’s with his team unless he’s playing an actual game.
Now, you’re probably wondering why I don’t just use my smart phone while I’m out and about or why don’t I just get a tablet to carry around for family planning on the go. Well, I have both, but there is only so much I can do on my phone and my tablet has to connect to wi-fi to get anything good done on it. I live in a small town where even the wi-fi in McDonald’s is sketchy. I need a tablet sized phone that can text, go online on its own, and do what I need to do without worrying about whether I can connect to wi-fi. But, who wants to carry around that big of a phone all the time (okay, so my husband has one of those, but he’s weird like that). I digress… I have found a solution to my problem!
This week has been crazy busy, even though I was supposed to be on vacation (a story for another blog post) and I found myself at soccer practice that started this week with blogging work on my mind and no real way to get the things done that needed to be done. I headed out to Walmart and picked up the solution to my problem…a T-Mobile Trio AXS Tablet!
This beautiful 7.85 inch white tablet is just what I needed. I can connect online without Wi-Fi and have a text capable phone number and I have FREE DATA for life (Tmobile data plan is 200MB of free data each month for the life of the tablet on T-Mobile’s advanced nationwide 4G network). Here’s what I can do:
- Sync all my Google account information to the tablet
- Download my favorite apps such as GoDaddy email, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, WordPress, and any other app that I use for my blog work
- Sync my calendar to keep up with my family’s appointments
- Work while my boy is practicing his sports
- Get online and plan our meal for the evening
- Work, work, work…on the go!
Now that Benjamin is getting ready to head back to school, I can track his activities and schedule reminders for homework assignments and teacher gift days. I will never be scrambling at the last minute, begging the western wear store to stay open 5 more minutes because he has a program the following day and I forgot to buy his western clothes. I can download learning games for Benjamin to use to keep his mind busy as it starts to get darker earlier and he can’t play outside.
I may even “gasp” volunteer to be Room Mother and/or Team Mom! This little joy is going to take me from Frazzled Mom to Super Mom and all I needed was a simple Tmobile data plan to get me started. I think I’ve found my new best friend!

I absolutely adore this tablet. You outlined my thoughts exactly. I sit at gymnastics 9 hours a week, and I’m at TKD for 3 or more hours a week. I can’t NOT get stuff done, but with no reliable wifi… who would have thought there would be free data? Score, no?
