2014 Word of the Year – Action
I’ve never done this before, but this year I’m taking ACTION and joining the movement to have a Word of the Year. I’m not sure what this will do for me, but I’m going to make it work. I’m not sure where I’m going with this, but I’m going to use it to its full advantage. I’m not sure what any of this means, but I’m going to make it my motto, my inspiration, and my goal for 2014.
What does ACTION mean to me?
I’m going to take ACTION in my improving my health, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
I’m going to take ACTION in improving my family situation.
I’m going to take ACTION in keeping my house clean and organized.
I’m going to take ACTION in improving my blog and my social media presence.
I’m going to take ACTION in improving my finances.
What is a Word of the Year?
I have no idea. I should research that a little before taking ACTION on declaring this my word, but why not jump in with both feet and just be me about it. I’ll make this word work for me and my life. I’ll make it my Soul Goal to take ACTION in everything I do during 2014 and at the end of the year I’ll tell you how it worked out for me.
How did I choose ACTION as my word?
It just came to me as I thought about my goals for 2014. I want to lose weight and be healthy. I want to improve my marriage situation and teach my boy how to have a successful life, family, and marriage. I want to improve my blog and work harder at my day job, my social media work, my campaign work, and my friendships. All of these things take ACTION on my part so the word works!
This is a great word, Janet! You already started, too! I was so proud of you at the end of last year for speaking up for yourself when you had a problem. ACTION. I like that. I really like that!
