The World’s Best Themed Restaurants for Kids
If you are not sure where to take your little darlings so they can enjoy an out-of-this-world, wacky, outrageous and truly exciting meal, you are in luck: we have picked a few of our best from all over – the world’s best themed restaurants for kids.
There are so many great things about being a kid when it comes to entertainment — the theme parks, the animal adventure parks and the greatest themed restaurants for kids. Who wouldn’t want to be a pirate during dinner or enjoy a banquet fit for a king while dressed as one — and that’s just the parents!
The World’s Best Themed Restaurants for Kids
Chessington’s Zufari Bar & Grill – Chessington World of Adventures, UK
What’s nice about this place is not only that it is brand new, it is geared towards the whole family. Perched right over the Wanyama Reserve, you and your family can look down over the animals as they go about their day-to-day activities. Munch on African-themed food right from the sizzling grill or the fresh salad bar, while looking down on antelopes, zebra and their friends in the reserve below.
World of Warcraft – Beijing, China
This is perfect for the World of Warcraft junkie who can barely tear themselves away from the computer for a night out with the rest of the family. The restaurant was designed with features taken directly from this iconic game and fans will be delighted, feeling as if they have walked right into the game itself. From the front entrance to the menu, every surface displays familiar scenes and faces from the game. And if that is not enough, you can check out snippets of the Massive Multiplayer Online game on TV screens right throughout the venue.
Pirate’s Dinner Adventure — USA
This is without doubt one of the most exciting dinner adventures for any age group – kids and adults alike: an interactive, acrobatic pirate-themed show complete with a feast fit for any budding buccaneer. Climb aboard an 18th century Spanish galleon that is anchored in a sparkling lagoon, surrounded by no less than six other ships. Be immersed in a mind-blowing show with cannon blasts, stunts and swashbuckling for a theatrical dinner that your kids will talk about forever afterwards.
Treehouse Restaurant – New Zealand
Right in the heart of Auckland, New Zealand is the Redwoods Treehouse Retreat. A stunning feat of architectural genius, a dramatic bulb-like structure peers some 10m up into the treetops accessible by a winding walkway. The Treehouse is the ultimate venue for an amazing dinner, and will be something your kids have never before seen in their lives and possibly will never see again: a truly remarkable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Rainforest Café – London and USA
The Rainforest Café is the ultimate adventure-themed restaurant to take your family. Choose from areas like the Gorillas, Aquarium, Butterfly Room or book to sit in the Elephants Area. Great, healthy ”jungle food” is on the menu surrounded by the sights and sounds of the thick of the rainforest, and this is one venue that will be a lifetime hit with your family.
When my family and I went to Disney World I begged my mom to let us go to one of the theme restaurants! The ones you listed look like so much fun!

The Rainforest Cafe is the only one I have visited, but it seems like a fun tour to go on cross-country, right?!
These are so cool. I would love to go to any of them. I’ve been to a Rainforest Cafe here in the states, it was pretty cool.
