Expectant Parents Gifts {gifts for Mommy, Daddy, and siblings}
It seems that all of my friends (at least the online ones) are either getting pregnant, about to have babies, or just had babies. Now, my little sister is pregnant with her first baby and she is just at that age when all of her friends are pregnant, about to have babies, or just had babies, too. All of this baby talk has me thinking and I have two questions.
Question 1: What are the most popular expectant parents gifts?
Question 2: Where is the water everyone is drinking so I can be pregnant, too?!!

I like to give expectant parents a photo album for baby pictures, and also a gift card to a restaurant so that they can go for a “parent’s night out” . All parents need time to connect with each other when they have a new baby. They can sometimes neglect their relationship.

I love the Tiny Tillia Growing Bodystuits. It includes a 0-3, 3-6, and 6-9 month bodysuit (they all coordinate) and they are very good quality. I gave a set to my sister-in-law two years ago and it is now my go-to gift (along with an item from the registry of course).
Diapers – you can never have too many – and sleep sacks – comfy and easy diaper access.

I like to give a hand knit baby blanket.
I love giving baby clothes, diapers, and a Boba or Moby wrap also make great gifts!
The book, ‘Guess How Much I Love You’! Also, blankies, onesies, bibs, burp cloths (because you go through so many!)

It completely depends on how well I know the parents and whether it’s a first baby, first girl/boy, third or fourth baby, etc. I threw a “meal prep” shower for a friend recently to get a bunch of dinners in the freezer for her so that she didn’t have to worry about cooking for awhile and knew that her family would actually eat and enjoy the meals they received.

My favorite gift to give to expecting parents is Diapers and wipes. They always need them.
I just registered today and I would have to go with whatever item(s) is/are on their list. Second, I would go for gift cards so they can buy what they want.

Diapers
I love to get things off their registry because I know how frustrating it is to get a million of something you don’t need when you spend HOURS researching for what you want to register for. I think it’s so much more helpful and respectful of their time–you save them running everywhere for returns!
This was a little frustrating for me when I was pregnant as well, but I have to admit that I typically think that I know what they need better than they do, haha! I had one person buy every pillow and blanket from my registry online and spread them out (no pun intended) so we got a new blanket every other day or so. That was really fun!
diapers, It’s boring, but practical!
…and in all sizes!! There is nothing more frustrating with a new baby than to get 47 packages of newborn diapers and within a month, they are in size 1 and you have no diapers that fit!
