Don’t Eat All That Halloween Candy!!
How much Halloween candy did your children get last night?!! How much did they eat?!!
Let’s have a “teaching moment” together!!
If your children were as fortunate as mine was last night, you have a lot of candy at your house. You are, most likely, monitoring the candy intake and ensuring that your children are not overeating and taking care of their health!!
What did your children learn last night?!!
My 4 year old learned that not all kids his size are nice and sweet and some like to jump in your face and scare you. He also learned that just a few houses and then the church Fall Festival is the way to go…so much fun!!
He was the “Hulk SMASH” (you can’t leave off the “SMASH”) and he was just overjoyed by everyone being so nice and giving him so much (except the one kid, of course)!!
On the way home, he told me that he every day should be Halloween!!
Let’s take that generosity one step forward with America’s Toothfairy Halloween!!
Did you know:
- Severe tooth decay is the #1 chronic childhood disease in the United States, and it’s 100% preventable.
- Research shows that more than 40 percent of American children will suffer from pediatric dental disease before they reach kindergarten. It is the most common chronic childhood illness and can cause pain that disrupts a child’s ability to eat, sleep and learn.
America’s Toothfairy strives to eradicate childhood tooth decay by providing non-profit community programs with the comprehensive resources to deliver critical educational, preventive and treatment services.
