Men In Black 3 on Blu-Ray/DVD on 11/30

In MEN IN BLACK™3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back…in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K's life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him – secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency and the future of humankind.

Men In Black 3 is coming to Blu-Ray and DVD on November 30, but you can see it early by making a pre-purchase at Walmart and watching it online with VUDU!! Hubby and I really want to see this and pre-screen it before for our boy, so I headed out to Walmart to pick up the Digital Bundle!!

My boy tagged along and we browsed through some toys, which made me realize that we have really become a movie mogul family lately. We oogled over toys from Batman, The Avengers, The Amazing Spiderman, and Wreck It Ralph before we made it to the New Releases at Walmart. I remember when the first Men In Black movie came out. I worked in a Toys R Us and they had the cutest alien toys for that movie.

Men In Black 3 will be released on DVD ($17.96) and Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack ($21.96). We don't own a Blu-Ray player yet, but most movies now come with this combo pack option. There is a chance we will have a Blu-Ray player in the future so I might as well get the combo pack. You never know when the DVD will become the VHS of the future (or the digital copy makes it all obsolete).

Since Mommy and Daddy were getting an alien movie, I decided that my boy could get a movie too (as if he doesn't have enough already). We looked for something with aliens and I really wanted to get MIB and MIB2, but we couldn't find any of these. He decided that ghosts were "like aliens" so we picked up a $5 Scooby-Doo movie. He likes "scary" stuff and I'm not exactly sure that he is MY child.

As soon as we got home, I headed straight for the laptop (Hubby says, "shocker!") and I wanted to find out what all this digital copy hub-bub was all about!! We all like to brag from time to time that we are seeing something or doing something FIRST or EARLY so the idea of this VUDU viewing is really fun for me.

I was a little concerned that it would be one of those "you child has to help you because you are digitally challenged" moments because they are happening more and more for me. However, there were simple instructions inside the case and before you know it – Voila! – I owned a digital copy of Men In Black 3!!

I had to register with VUDU.com in order to get the hard copy of the Blu-Ray/DVD sent directly to my home, but that was easy as well. I just filled in my mailing address and I will get the hard copy around November 30.

In order to stream the digital copy, I also had to sign up for a free UltraViolet account. I hesitated for just a second here because I do NOT like to give out my credit card info, even for the "free stuff", but then I noticed that I didn't have put it in unless I wanted to rent movies. I could skip this option and if we decide to rent in the future, we can enter the card information at that time.

Woohoo!! We got a free movie for being a new user!! I think we will save this for a rainy day. Hubby has been watching for a release date on Ted and I'm really not excited about the idea of spending money on it so this works!
