Snuggle up on a road trip with SeatPets {Review} @SeatPets
This Summer my family has been on quite a few road trips and we have been having a blast. This is something new to us even though The Boy has always done really well in the car. One thing that I have always had issues with when going on road trips is when our boy falls asleep in his car seat and his head flops over. I can't stand to see him in such an uncomfortable position for more than a few minutes, much less the one to two hours that he will sometimes sleep. I have tried to move his head at times, but it always seems to flop forward again.

What could be more precious than glancing in the back seat to see a sleeping tyke? As parents, we'd do anything not to wake them up! But if you've ever noticed the sleeping positions they must endure in a car seat or booster seat, you have the urge to straighten their head and maybe push a pillow (if there was one) by their squished ear.
Meet Airheart
Airheart, a friendly soft monster, showed up on our doorstep this week and well…The Boy LOVES him. My boy loves lots of stuffed animals, but not many get much face time quite like his best friend, Baby the Penguin. Airheart has become Baby's new friend! This fun animal has lots of little zippers and pockets and my boy figured out quickly that Baby can fit in the big pocket on top of Airheart's head.
What we love about SeatPets
Airheart has three really cute pockets on his tummy where my boy can keep some of his smaller toys or a snack that he wants to bring in the car. Along the back/top of his head is a large zipper pocket (not pictured) that is about the size of his entire head. There is one large flap across the back with a strip of velcro that is easy to open and slide under the seatbelt. The Boy has been able to put that one on his car seat seatbelt by himself. Down the back of the pet is another longer flap that further anchors him onto the seatbelt. In the sides of Airheart are two small zipper pockets where my boy can keep his secret treasures (like a plastic Power Ranger) so the dogs don't get it and eat it. We also received a backpack strap to attach to Airheart so he can carry his new friend around on his back!!
Airheart is very soft and has gone to daycare with The Boy for a few days now and makes a great pillow. I think he is ready for his first road trip. I wonder what treasures my boy will carry along with us.
When my boy goes to daycare in the morning, he is sure to take his best friend, Baby, his blanket, Silver, and now his new pillow friend, Airheart. Tomorrow, when we go on a big trip to my sister's house in Conroe, he is planning to strap Airheart to his carseat. He says that he might be tired from daycare so he will lay his head down on Airheart and "take a rest".
Traveling with SeatPets
UPDATED: From our trip this past weekend – We strapped Airheart to the carseat and hit the road. Only about an hour in and my boy was crashed out. He has not let Airheart go since we got him. He has even given up on all pillows and it's all about Airheart!!

A simple concept, fitted fabric covers for vehicle seat belts, goes five steps further and provides an incentive for kids to buckle up . Not only do they offer a soft resting place but are designed with three pockets and two zippered compartments to store their car ride stuff. Moms no longer have to stop or reach around to offer a snack, juice box, toy or ear buds because they are already stowed in their SeatPets.
Which SeatPets toy would your child love?!!
These seatpets are my kids favorites. The new characters though cute are not the same as Awty and the gang.
They aren’t the same, but it doesn’t stop my boy from wanting another one already!
i think these are awesome. i would love to get one.
Nice review. Thanks for the pictures of the pockets. I was trying to figure out the size of the pockets. So thanks for the description and pics! Such a simple concept but really seems very practical. Looks like you get a lot of bang for your buck!
This is a very creative solution to a common problem. We haven’t taken our kids on any long road trips but we are hoping to head to CA for Thanksgiving in the next couple of years and this would be very handy for the long, 20 hour drive.
i now acouple of kid who love to have them they are cute and then they have a great face on them
How cool! Airheart is so cute. Thanks for the review.
What a great idea…I watched the video and liked the versatility of the product.
Machine washable too…thanks for the review!
very cute, I like the extra little pockets to keep toys tucked away…
This would be great for our car rides to visit my sister 8-9 hrs from us!
This is the first I have heard of these. I love these and all the pockets they have and the fact that my kids will adore these and want to take them everywhere. What a great idea.
These are so neat! Give them something to cuddle with and sleep on. I like that they don’t look to have much padding on the back, so they shouldn’t interfere with the seat belt!
This is a must-have for the next road trip! My daughter will never sleep in the car, I think this would help.
I didn’t realize they had pockets, too. I just thought it was a great idea for keeping seat belts in place and helping to make them more comfortable and enjoyable for kids. How great to have pockets, too!
This is such a great idea for the kids. Nice work SeatPets. I love these little guys they are do adorable. I especially like “Airheart”. Xmas is just around the corner going to have to send them out as xmas gifts. We are leaving for a road trip next month i will be giving it the test then. ♥
