My dogs drive me batty!

I'm going to be up front with you all here and tell you that my dogs are crazy. They drive me batty!! They get under my feet, they jump on me, trip me, claw me and bite me, they chase each other all over the house and tear up my sons toys, they destroy our living room on a daily basis and make the biggest messes when they find a piece of paper or something they can tear into pieces.

But I love furbabies

I never knew I was a dog person until I was visiting my dad's house one weekend when I was in college and they had just adopted a little blonde rat terrier named Missy. That little puppy had the biggest head and kept falling over trying to walk and she just cuddled up to me all weekend long. A few years later, my dad found a Jack Russell mix at his mechanic shop one day and took him to the Humane Society. After calling every day for a week, nobody claimed the dog so he and I went to pick him up. He rode home on my lap and we named him Austin and he and I were inseperable (when I was home visiting) and Austin even snarled and almost bit my husband the first time he came with me to visit my dad's house.

Then I met Pepper

I've told you all about Pepper before and every time I take that trip down Memory Lane, I get sad. I love Pepper almost as much as I love my boy. She was my first baby and as MAD as she drove me, I wouldn't trade a second of my time with her for anything. She was a free spirit and died doing what she loved best – running free!!

And Molly and Abby – the crazy ones!!

Hubby and I tried to have dogs in between Pepper dying and us adopting Molly and Abby, but we never found the right match. I hate to admit that we adopted them and then took them back, but they weren't right, and I wasn't ready. When we met Molly, we knew right away – and she loved our boy so much – and as crazy as she makes me, I love her so much. Abby, dear crazy Abby, she is like Pepper's offspring, without the free spirit, love for running out the front door (although she has been running out the door a little lately and scaring us!!).

You have to pamper the furbabies

Almost everyday I am posting about some new thing that we received for The Boy or one of us so I am happy to announce that this time, we're pampering our pups!!
