TWINKLE TOES: THE MOVIE {National Dance Day} Review
TWINKLE TOES: THE MOVIE
Did you have Twinkle Toes on National Dance Day?!!
Do your children love to dance? Does your girl love to sparkle? Do you have a child with “stage fright”? Then you have to Discover Your Inner Sparkle and watch TWINKLE TOES: THE MOVIE!! Based on the popular and oh so sparkly line of Skechers Twinkle Toes Sneakers, this movie debuts on shelves July 31, 2012.
Twinkle Toes: The Movie by Skechers is fun and sparkly and full of the cutest and uplifting music. This movie made me think of a modern day Jem and the Holograms
.
The Boy and I watched this last weekend (while Daddy was not here because he was not happy about this :P) and we really enjoyed it. As I mentioned, the music was fun and uplifting. The story is uplifting as well. Grace “Twinkle Toes” Hastings and her bunny friend, Walter have a secret that Grace is an exceptional dancer. They are keeping the secret because Grace has stage fright.
Although this movie was slightly more sparkly than what we normally watch, we had so much fun! We danced with Grace and Walter and even had a discussion about how sometimes my boy can be “afraid” when there are lots of other kids around. We just went through this during t-ball season when he would get shy around others and he told Daddy and me that he was “afraid” to talk to the other kids. I loved that I could have this important conversation again with him. He gets his shyness from me and I feel that I missed quite a bit in life due to my extreme shyness and I do not want him to miss out!

It takes a good song and a great mood to get me to dance…but its nice to let loose now and then!
Any upbeat music set my granddaughters and I into dancing.
Music is inspiring to my daughter but she has stage fright and unfortunately keeps her from performing in front of others.
I have been a praise dancer since high school and hope this will inspire my 2 year old to dance.
Any and all music is my daughters inspiration. She will dance with her heart to any beat.I’m a little envious of her out going personality. She gets it from daddy….
The music is the inspiration. Forget about the people watching just listen to the music and dance.
Enthralling music!

All we have to do is put on some music and the kids will start dancing. they love to dance and have no problems getting on a stage!
both of my children suffer from extreme stage fright, they get it from me!!!
My daughter loves to dance. She dances to some of her cartoons. She does have stage fright tho’ We try to make funny faces when she is on stage. It gives her something funny to focus on. of course we also clap loud for her too and cheer her on, but that seems to embarrass her a lot. But, silly faces make her laugh and keeps her calm.
My daughter will dance all day long… by herself, but even at her dance themed slumber-birthday party (that she was so excited about), she refused to dance with her friends. The child is petrified of an audience. She just turned 7, so I’m hoping it’s just a phase she’s going through. I would be thrilled if I could come up with a way to help her come out of her shell.
Music inspires us….although, we can just be cleaning the kitchen and feel the need. Music is the main motivator. Kids hear it and just want to move.
i love to dance and classic rock inspires me to do so
Music with a good beat is all my granddaughter needs for inspiration

My daughter loves to dance. Most of the time she does it in her room
My daughter likes to break out into a silly dance to make all of us laugh sometimes! She is sick and in pain a lot with Lupus and Fibromyalgia so it’s wonderful to see her laughing and having a good time!
any kinds of beats or rhythms get my children moving ….we all have stage fright so it kind of hard to coach them out of it since I have the same fear – – Paul T/Pauline T aka Paul Tran….. emscout9 at Hotmail dot com

My daughter loves to dance and it’s music that inspires her.
just hearing music inspires my grandchildren, They love dancing. My daughter use to be very shy but we tried preschool, etc and that was just her. She didn’t grow out of her shyness until she was about 22 years of age. We entered her in dancing, all kinds of things.
we dance to catchy music. she has never been on stage to get frighten
ANYTIME my kids hear music they like to break out and dance. We have a “happy song” that we play when they are feeling down or crabby. We put it in and we all “crazy dance”
All that Tee needs for inspiration to dance is some music. I get inspired when watching Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty…I really enjoy the classical style.
Do my kids love to dance? Heck yeah! Do they sparkle? Ummm…I’m their mom!
Well of course they SPARKLE!!
