Child abuse is so horrible and it can be in many forms as my son learned that this month when his best friend was taken out of his home by CPS and also by another lady who has two kids that where in Foster Care. I think I should share these stories as it has impacted my family in so many ways.

I think child abuse can go beyond just physical hitting but verbal, emotional abuse too. It is something I need to keep in mind when teaching my daughter about abuse and how to help her feel comfortable speaking up. Thanks for the posting!
