Fatty Friday – 288.2
Really, seriously, WTH, OMG, Why?!! Thank you for stopping by to support me this week because I need it more than ever!!
Please stick around for the Featured Newbie later today, and check out my Winner Winner Weekend Giveaway Linky coming this afternoon…but for right now…
Let’s talk about Weight Loss or Lack Thereof!!
I gained 5.6 lbs this week!!
Hubby lost 5 lbs!!
I’m speechless over this gain, really. All I can say is I went into that room to weigh in feeling smaller and confident that I had done well this week. I got out of the house on Saturday with my boy, we all went for a walk on Sunday, I drank my water and ate like I should. I did have my monthly visitor this week, but that was mostly the first part of the week (only lasts about 3 days for me) so I just don’t know. I was really hungry most of the week so I drank water and ate protein to help curb the hunger pains. My biggest discretion was probably cheese – I was craving it!!
Who knows anymore…I’ll just keep at it mostly because I feel good, I’m having more energy, and eventually it has to work…right?!! Please pray for me!!
Of course, my online friends are always motivating me to keep moving. Andrea at Let’s Call It Crispy and I have decided to team up and connect my Fatty Friday with her Fitness Friday so after you’ve linked up here, hop on over to her and see how she’s doing!! (Tell her I said ”hi” )
The Fatty Friday linky is about weight struggles, weight loss success and support, getting healthier, or whatever you feel would “fit” with these topics. You do not have to post something new on Friday, just link to something weight loss or fitness related that you posted during the week. I know several bloggers are in the NSNation and that would be a great post to link up. Maybe you are just needing some encouragement on a weight loss or fitness issue…link it up!! Maybe you have a weight loss related giveaway (lets keep those limited and specific to weight loss or fitness) but go for it!! Link up!!
The linky will stay open all week and will reset on Friday morning!!
If you know me at all, you know I don’t like rules so if you think it “fits” with the theme, link up, and then go visit a few of the others and see what they have to say as well.
Leave a comment of encouragement…and don’t forget to encourage me!!
Got to love how you gain and they lose!! Men have it so much easier then us ladies! I got one of those cow magnets that moo’ed at you when you open the fridge.. yeah he was tossed in the trash! lol.

LOL! I have to laugh, although it’s not funny, because this is me. Hubby and I go on a diet and he loses what I gain! SO not fair!
But good luck! You can do it!

So did your husband take his weight loss and give it to you? Ugh, that stinks. But can I just say totally jealous that you only have a 3 day period! Does that make you feel any better? No? Well I tried don’t know what else to say other than you’ll kill it next week
.

It sounds like cheese needs to be eliminated from your fridge. If it is not in there, it wont call your name.
Good luck!

I LOVE cheese. Unfortunately without a food scale, 1oz is really hard to determine. Figure each ounce is 100 calories.( give or take by type) If you break a piece off a piece without weighing it, it may be 4 and that is 400 calories and probably 32 grams of fat.
The monthly visitor is also going to throw you off. Next week I think you are going to get a much better gauge of where you are. You know I’m here if you need me and I can bring you into my Great Shape Today Wellness group!

That scale lies! I think you changing your habits says a lot more than the scale ever would. Just keep working at it and I hope that evil machine reflects all the changes you’ve been making. Hugs!

I’ve had the scale go up and stay up for a week after my monthly visitor, so that could be all that it is. Keep up the hard work and it will all pay off.

Keep it up! I hate seeing the scale go up after losing but sometimes it seems to kick start a big weight loss again. Good luck you’re doing great.

I think it’s kind of normal for that to happen (unless you’ve totally cheated
)
You do hit a ‘plateau’ and this is exactly why people get discouraged… you CAN do it!!!
And, you said you feel better, isn’t that better than whatever # shows up on the scale anyways!!
Don’t stop, you go this!

Oh no Janet I’m so sorry. Sometimes when working out, our bodies hit a plateau if the workouts are repetitive or not challenging enough. Could that be the issue maybe? Have you had your thyroid checked? My best friend’s thyroid caused her to have almost these same issues as well.
Are you counting calories? The only reason why I’m asking is because I’m wondering if it’s possible that you’re somehow getting more calories than you think (I know that’s a stretch but I’m out of ideas!).

I think I need to work out more, drink more water, and stay away from the cheese!! Thanks for the encouragement…it really means a lot!!
