Wordless Wednesday – maybe?
Does it count as Wordless Wednesday if you have other posts on your blog that day?!!
Now, there is no way I can post without some words so here’s a funny story for the day:
I took my son into daycare (late) this morning and a teacher from the next class over was poking her head over the partition and smiling at me. She came out of the room and over to me and quietly asked if I was pregnant. Little back story in my head: I went to weigh in yesterday after missing my weekly weigh-ins for over a month and I had gained quite a bit and I’ve gone slightly back over 300 again . I frowned and told her “no” that I am just fat. She looked embarrassed and said that she was asking because my son had told several teachers and the daycare director that his mommy is having a baby!! Oh, really??!!!
I looked up and several teachers were looking at me and smiling (some poking their heads over the petitions) and the director (a man) was smiling giddily at me…
To set the record straight, I am not pregnant although I would LOVE to be!! There are certain things that have to happen in order for one to get pregnant and when there is a 3 year old in the bed between Mommy and Daddy every night those things tend to NOT happen.
Have a great HUMP day!! (teehee!!)
By the way, Marie over at Howard’s House Reviews is shining a spotlight on my little blog and some other great ones too!!
This is hilarious!! Totally qualifies for sat laughs. Thanks for linking up!

Teehee!! Check out the comments thread to see some of the “other” places and the suggested ones!!
It is hilarious that the comments are just as funny as the post! Love the picture of him running and asking you if naptime was successful!
And what an adorable picture!!
teehee!! He’s a character…I should tell more tales from him!!
Rachel, the comments just keep getting better too!!
AWWWW!!!! It makes you wonder where he thought he heard that. Or maybe he just tells what he wants to be true?
Either way, I get that comment about more babies way more than my ego can handle. I always say the same thing, too “No, I’m just fat.”
HAHA….wait til the 3yo falls asleep then sneak into the master bathroom!!!

I’m terrible at doing a ‘true’ Wordless Wednesday post. If nothing else, I feel compelled to put who’s in the photo or what they are doing.

Hmmm well I’m not entirely sure if congratulations or commiserations are in order…maybe both? lol
I hope you manage to figure a way to get the bed to your self before too long.
That is a great pic.

Thanks!!! My boys are so silly!!!
Cute! I like that you say you have a 3 year old between you, lol.
We told him that if he slept in his own bed that Mommy could get a baby in her tummy. So one day during nap I moved him to his bed after he fell asleep…when he woke up he ran into the living room yelling “Mommy, you have a baby in your tummy now?!!”
LMBO!!!! I really needed that laugh!!! Three years old (2 and 5 years too) tend to kill the Mommy/Daddy time!!! My boys are really really good at it!!!

Even when he DOES go to sleep at a normal time, either Mommy or Daddy has already fallen asleep too!!
