Tales from AWANA
We are only in week 3 and it has been interesting, to say the least. The lessons are fairly easy: God made the sun, God made the sky… but teaching them to children ages 4 and under is not quite so easy.

Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Hi Janet – I think it is wonderful that you are working with these little one. Their little minds are ripe to learn about Jesus.

Thank you!! They do amaze me how they learn about God and Jesus…and I’m learning too!!
What a cute story and you handled them all so wonderfully. I wish I had my son in a class like that as I am sure he would enjoy it. I do feel like you do when he acts up and he is also only 3 1/2 so I did learn some things from you Thanks, so much for sharing.

That’s great!! I always learn from the kids sometimes more than they learn from me!!
Sounds like God had you right where He wanted you to be on Sunday! I’m sure you were an incredible blessing to the kid’s parents, teaching them the importance of playing well together! I love how you added that you snuck in the lesson on God making everything. Yes, He did make everything…including teachers who share Christ’s love with kids!
Blessings, Joan
