Oh, Oh, Oh!!! I almost forgot to tell you all…
Kristin is the talented designer behind my Blog Makeover!! She came up with my pirate theme without even asking what I would like…and I love, Love, LOVE pirates!! In fact, Hubby and I have an ongoing joke about pirates and when we got married, I had an eye patch on my leg when he went looking for the garter!! 
I’ll have to post that picture sometime soon!!
Kristin also was a WINNER this week on my blog in The Day That Just Keeps Giving!! She won a Personalized Rhinestone Tank Top from Advantage Bridal and I cannot wait to see what she picks out!!

Tell me a little bit about yourself and your family.
Hello, my name is Kristin! I love to save money, but there is a lot more to me. I am in love with music, art, and animals! I am addicted to Master Piece Classics. I think I could go on about their movies for hours. I also love photography, though I am horrible at it. 
I used to live at concerts in Florida, I can’t wait to get back and enter into the scene again! I can’t go to as many as I used to, but I just can’t get enough of the atmosphere.
My family is consisting of a husband and dachshund. Both of which I adore more than anything. They are my two ‘loves’.
How long have you been blogging?
I have not been blogging for fairly long at all. I think I started around July? Hmm. (**here’s the story…I know how long she’s been blogging… )
Why did you start blogging? Is this also why you continue blogging?
I started blogging to show my family what they could save and get. I was getting freebies or cheap items in stores and they wanted ‘in on it’. I wanted to help them help themselves as well as anybody who happened to come across my blog.
I continue to blog because I love it! I love finding things and posting them for others to get! It is a lot of fun. I am also adding in a DIY section to this blog, which I am also excited about. (**check out the crayons post…love it!!)
Basically if I am able to get what I need for free, why not tell others about it?
What direction do you see your blog going in the future?
I really want to continue to post about freebies, but I’m also dying to get a DIY section started on my blog because sometimes you just can’t save money on certain things. For example, I made a dog bed for $10! And my dog loves it!
I also am trying to start reviewing products and brands. I can see that becoming a lot of fun on its own.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far with your blog?
Blogging in general is foreign to me. I have problems with trying to get feedback. It can be hard sometimes when you don’t even know if anyone sees what you post! I have a lot of new and old fans contributing on facebook now compared to the beginning though.
What do you love about blogging?
I love helping anyone and everyone I can. It’s as simple as that. I also love having an outlet to throw out my projects!
What do you NOT love about blogging?
Getting discouraged. {ugh…I hate that feeling 
}
Besides your blog, how else can people find you? Which method is your favorite/least favorite?
I have a Facebook and a Twitter account. At the moment I update on giveaways and freebies more frequently on Facebook. If you have a Twitter I would love to follow you though!
Share your top 3 favorite blogs to read and why.
Going Crazy! Wanna Go? – I love GCWG because *cough* the author of the blog is sweet and down to earth. She is relatable and I check her blog for new post literally every day. {She was NOT paid to put this…and I actually had to read this several times to finally figure out what GCWG meant…ha!! ;)}
High Kicks and High Hopes – I like HK&HH because I love how inspirational she can be. She doesn’t post as often anymore, but when I first started to read her blog years ago she posted a lot. She is a vulnerable person and lets that out completely.
I really can’t decide on a 3rd.
How do you find time to blog?
I am a stay at home wife for now. I have been working on something on the job side, but I should be able to post during the day once that starts.
What else would you like us to know?
I love to help anyone so if anyone ever needs help with anything, just ask.
What is your best advice for a Newbie Blogger?
If you get discouraged don’t quit what you are doing. Don’t even take a break because it just becomes a vacation. Sure, other blogs might be getting more viewers or comments or ‘likes’, but that doesn’t mean your blog isn’t just as awesome. Just keep on going.
