Shorts and t-shirts weather is almost here so it’s time to stock up on Spring Fashion for Kids. We stocked up before heading to Disney World last week and I can’t wait to tell you and show you everything we bought!
Even though the groundhog saw his shadow and we ended up with extra weeks of Winter, it’s almost time and Spring is about to be here. Benjamin and I are excited about the weather warming up a little bit and the possibilities of us getting outside and playing is just driving us crazy. We got a little taste of it this past week while at Disney World and I can’t wait to show you his little wardrobe for the upcoming sunny days!
The week before we headed out to Disney World we were frantically running around town and in Tyler to get all the supplies we would need for a successful trip. Here in Texas, it has been (still is) rainy and cool so it was a little difficult to pack shorts and t-shirts and not wonder if we would need something a little warmer. We had checked the weather several times for Disney so we knew our Spring fashion would be appropriate, but I still packed at least one outfit for cool weather just in case.
One of our stops before heading out to Florida had to be OshKosh B’gosh for some great new clothes for Benjamin. He has grown so much this school year that I have even had to replace some of his school clothes from the beginning of the year because they were getting too short. I was able to pick up several polo-style shirts in bright Spring colors (flourescent yellow and blue) that Benjamin could wear to school and still be in dress code, but he and I were way more excited about the graphic tees that I found on Clearance. I picked up six t-shirts at $4-$6 each so he had a new shirt to wear every day at Disney.
I also picked up three pairs of these flat front long shorts with fun designs on them. He has a pair with sailboats, sharks, and stripes on them, but there were also some camo and other colors that I think I’ll be going back for. These were great for Disney and will be great all Spring because they are so versatile and are in neutral colors. One of the things I love about this new Spring Fashion is that Benjamin can pick out his own clothes now by grabbing a shirt and shorts and I don’t have to worry about something not matching.
Benjamin and I had so much fun dressing him in new clothes every day and then taking photos outside the hotel room while Daddy was getting dressed. He was comfortable all day at Disney and excited about every piece of clothing that I bought for him. I would say that this shopping trip was definitely a success!
I picked up 8 shirts, 3 shorts, and 1 pack of 6 pairs of socks for right around $120, but I also earned two coupons for $10 off with my next shopping trip.
