Dallas Cowboys Football Game

Disclosure: I attended the Bill Bates Tailgate Party and the Dallas Cowboys football game courtesy of Verizon Wireless. All opinions and stories are my own. I personally have my own Verizon account for my wireless service and enjoy it. Thank you to #GoVerizon for the best day with my dad, a fun party, and an awesome football game!

In this time of social media ruling our world, nobody wants to be caught in public without wireless service. We share our every move with our friends and family so everyone knows what we’re up to. When I’m doing something fun, I especially want to bring along my friends and family for the day. This past Sunday, my dad and I had the opportunity to attend a Dallas Cowboys football game (against the New York Giants, no less!) and we wanted our peeps to see what we were seeing so we needed to have good wireless service all day long.

Tailgate Party #GoVerizon

We attended the Bill Bates #GoVerizon Tailgate Party before the game so we could really get into the football mood. We enjoyed some great Bar-B-Q and had a blast listening to the DJ playing games with the other attendees. There were contests and fun prizes, such as a signed jersey from Hollywood Henderson! My dad might have been a little excited about that one just a little. We also met with a Verizon representative to talk about my dad’s phone. He’s due for an upgrade and learned that he could get a $200 credit for his current iPhone toward a new phone.

Verizon had a photo booth set up where we could make our own gif with props and our new Verizon sunglasses. I thought it would be fun to show my daddy how much I loved him with a kiss on his cheek.

Field goal challenge #GoVerizon

There was also a field goal challenge where participants could take their turn to kick a field goal and win some great Verizon swag. Dad and I had a great time watching everyone take a shot and some even made it!

Finally, the epitome of the tailgate party was getting to meet Bill Bates and getting his signature on my dad’s cap. They talked about the “good ‘ole days” a little and Bill was so friendly!

Of course, I was busy sharing so much of this amazing party on social media that my phone was quickly losing battery life, but Verizon had me covered with a charging station available to charge up my phone so I would be ready for more sharing during the game.

But, you don’t have to just read about this fun party, you can attend one of your own! Verizon has a tailgate party at every Dallas Cowboys home game through the regular season. The next event is October 27 and entry is available for $50 per person. Totally worth it for all the activities, food, fun, and great service from Verizon wireless.

Cowboys Stadium #GoVerizon

After Dad and I had partied quite a bit and enjoyed the activities, we decided to head on over to the stadium and find our seats. We didn’t want to miss anything!

Cowboys Stadium #GoVerizon

As I’m sure you know, Cowboys Stadium is amazing and huge. We wandered around (people watching, of course) and found our seats on the 50 yard line (well, not ON the 50, but AT the 50). We had a great view of the game and we couldn’t help but share a selfie or two.

We shared throughout the game and by the end, my phone was dead and his phone was dying. I think our friends and family must have felt like they were there with us! We both have Verizon service and it was the best wireless service to have at the game. We both had full bars for the entire game and our sharing was quick and easy!

Did you know that Verizon is an official sponsor of the NFL? And any Verizon customers with the More Everything Plan can download NFL Mobile for free! So, even if you can’t make it to the game, you won’t miss a play on your mobile device with NFL Mobile!

As if the day couldn’t get any better, the Cowboys pulled out an exciting win against the New York Giants and we were the first to know and share on social media with the best wireless service in the stadium!
