When Life Gets in the Way of Weight Loss {Fatty Friday Video Update}
So, life has been getting in the way of weight loss in my family lately. We’ve been running Benjamin from one sport to another and haven’t been planning our meals as well as we should. We’re working on getting back on track and life is good at the moment.
You may have read that I was at SoFabCon14 last weekend and I just haven’t had time to weigh in OR update you all so I put together a video (my first..eek..be kind!) to give you a little update, non-update. Feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel and follow me there for #FattyFriday.
For those of you who can’t see the video, I didn’t weigh in this past Thursday. Two weeks ago I gained 4 lbs and then last week (just before the conference) I lost 1.4 lbs. SoFabCon was not great for my weight loss efforts because I just ate what I wanted. But…we’re back on it and trying hard again.
Great video! Staying on your diet when you’re away from home is so tough. It’s so tough when you can’t control the temptations surrounding you. I can’t wait to read more about your journey and share in more of your videos! I’m going to say it again – loving the bangs on you!

OH MY GOSH I LOVED IT!!!!!! You have the sweetest voice and you talk like you’re from Texas. I never imagined you with an accent. (And, you’re probably thinking “What accent?”)
One of the things I struggle with the absolute most is meal planning. And, I have no excuse. I have nothing to occupy my time (such as extra-curricular activities. Or a child at all for that matter.) I have finally decided that I will never enjoy it, and that’s ok. I still have to do it, but it’s ok that it’s not my strength.
I have been doing HORRIBLY. That is the story of my life. But, I have started over again today. So far…so good. But it’s only 1pm.
I didn’t get on my elliptical one day this week which is really bad. So I will start that over again tomorrow.
I don’t think I told you that Dave got a new job and starts tomorrow. So, if we ever move to Texas (and he still wants to…someday) it will be awhile.
