Have you seen it yet? The movie that “tops” Cars (only because it flies high) is coming to DVD and I want to know if you saw it in the theater. Of course, you know that my family had to go see it and we had a blast. Now I’m planning for the DVD release and want to tell you all what we thought about the movie!
Nothing to disclose here – We paid to see it in theaters and we’ll pay for our own DVD!
Dusty Crophopper is a crop dusting plane with a big dream and an (almost) bigger fear. He finds his courage and his dream, along with a few new friends, when he flies high with the big planes in the Wings Across the World race.
Just like Cars, we loved how all the planes had their own personalities and fun characters. Dusty is an underdog who finds his courage by going for his dream. As with most Disney movies, this one is full of life lessons and stories of courage and friendship, along with kindness and dreaming big. I found the story to be encouraging and uplifting (no pun intended) and my boy, oh boy, did he LOVE it!
You’re child (boy or girl) is sure to find a friend in this movie and feel a connection to the underdog story. Benjamin was in love with Dusty and his courage and big dreams, but there’s also quite a bit of humor with El Chupacabra. All of the characters have something to offer with humor and kindness.
I just can’t say enough about this movie and the encouragement it has to offer!
