WWE and Breast Cancer Awareness #RiseAboveCancer #WWEmoms
You all should know by now that my family is completely addicted to WWE and the social good campaigns they support. This post is a part of the #WWEmoms campaign with The Online Mom and I’m helping to spread the word about the WWE and Breast Cancer Awareness. You know I’m a huge supporter so my opinions and stories are my own.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and what more could you expect than for the WWE to support the Susan G. Komen foundation whole-heartedly. It’s not unusual to see John Cena in pink during this time of year and you might see a few others in pink.
Well, this year, with John Cena out on medical leave, all of the superstars are stepping up and donning PINK to support this campaign. I just love a man in pink and these studly men (and a few other stars ) are going to be showing their pink sides as well. Woohoo!
Now, you know me and my love for Randy Orton, but with his heel turn I’ve had to look elsewhere for the one to watch (although, I still love to see a sexy RKO from time to time). I turned to Howard for a few tips on how to pick my next favorite and of course, since everything good comes from Michigan…he suggested RVD.
So, there you have it, folks. Our new man to watch (although not too studly) is RVD and that is his pink support shirt from the WWE shop. Do you have a favorite? Check out the shop and see if your man has a signature pink style!
Breast Cancer Awareness #RiseAboveCancer
WWE is proud to partner with Susan G. Komen to help fight breast cancer. Now through November 4, WWE Superstars and Divas will wear special edition pink and black ring gear to help raise funds and awareness in support of the millions of people affected by breast cancer.
I told you earlier this year about how the breast cancer question is a scary one for me. I just don’t know if it runs in my family. Just because I’m a woman I support what the Susan G. Komen Foundation does and stands for. I have friends who have survived this disease and I believe they are stronger for it. I hope that someday we find a cure, but until then, we have to raise awareness, support our fellow pink survivors and those currently fighting, and what better way than to stand alongside the WWE in this cause?!
