End of Summer Dream Bash {Outdoor Living}
Even though our boy is not quite old enough for school (thank goodness!) we are always aware when time for Back to School comes around. Since we moved into our rental house almost two years ago, one of the things I have wanted to do is start hosting more parties. We have a really boring backyard so before we could even think about hosting an End of Summer Bash, we would have to spruce it up. Money is an issue right now, but I thought it would be fun to dream about the perfect End of Summer Backyard Bash
Our Boring Backyard
We moved into our rental house about two years ago and it needed some work. We rent from our pastor and he gave us a great deal, but the house itself, and especially the backyard, needs some work. We haven’t spent a lot of time outside until recently, but The Boy is more interested in exploring outside now and I would love to host an End of Summer Bash for our friends and family.
Step One: Grill!!
I bought Hubby a grill for his birthday in July and he is in love with it. He grew up in Michigan so his experience with a grill is propane. This grill has propane and charcoal so he has been experimenting and learning a lot lately. This beautiful grill really needs some beautiful accessories surrounding it…don’t you think?!
End of Summer Dream Bash {Outdoor Living}
I visited Sears.com and browsed through the Sears Online Catalog, Sears Local Ad Deals, Sears Style Hub, and the Grilling is Happiness site for inspiration. Sears has created a Simply Outdoors online catalog for all outdoor living. There are 74 pages of beautiful outdoor sets and accessories and I was tempted to clip them all!
I found a few special deals to share:
- ALL grills on Sale
- Sunday, 8/12/12, ONLY take an extra 10% off Patio Furniture & Grills
- 30% off all Patio Furniture and Decor
I found this beautiful simple patio set in the online catalog for Sears – Brookshire Complete Collection.
A must-have for a patio: Fire Pit!!
The Sears local ad shows me what is available at the closest Sears to me in the Broadway Square Mall in Tyler, TX. When I click on overview, I can see the specifics of this fire pit…that I love! I also love that I can see the savings right now and 2 Reviews from former buyers of this product.
Using Polyvore to display my faves
I built this Polyvore board to compile some of my ideas for my End of Summer Dream Bash.
My Shopping List
Using the Polyvore board I made, I decided to make a shopping list, just in case that windfall hits tomorrow and then I can run to Sears and buy it all!! I would love for you all to check out some of the pieces on my list and let me know what you like by clicking the LIKE button. You can see my entire dream e-shopping trip in my End of Summer Dream Bash Google Album.

Wow, those pictures look great! I absolutely love to grill outdoors, and I live in California so we can grill all year long! I hope your party goes great!
I e-window shop all the time but I always bookmark everything. I love these tools you shared for recording my daydreaming. And we have the exact same grill! I hope you are able to get some seating out there soon. I love that Brookshire set!

I have so many bookmarks and tabs and clips and and and… Sometimes I just go through and purge, but then I get distracted by something shiny and ohhhh…
I have a Pinterest site, but I did not know about Polyvore. I love your Summer DreamBash list – especially the pug dog holding the lantern
Thanks!! I really like Polyvore for displaying outfits or trends in clothing. This was the first time I tried with something else and I had fun with it! I LOVED the pug dog too!!
