        When I little, I was in the yard and Daddy was mowing. One had been left out, it hit me right between the eyes and knocked me out. He thought I was dead. Maybe that is why I don’t have a lot of childhood memories & my memory is horrible now.LOL

    My dad taught me a lot before lung cancer took him away from me when he was only 52. But the one nugget of knowledge that I passed on to my kids already is: When using a knife, if you cut off your finger, put it on ice so that it can be reattached. !!

    My soulmate/bff love of my life husband Todd lifts my spirits the same way my dad has that I shared about (Todd and I raised 5 amazing kids together) … for example I was feeling self conscious bc I am soooo pale. I told him I feel like I look like a corpse, he said NOOoooo you look like a porcelain doll! I have accepted my fair skin so much better now bc of him. : )

    Two special and unique ones I learned from my dad
    1. as a teen I was embarassed that I had size 9 shoes I use to feel self conscious and try to hide my feet until my dad said “Honey you are tall, you are 5 ft 9 if you had small feet you would have no stability and you would fall over on your face!” awww lol
    2. After I had my 4 beautiful BIG babies I was feeling self conscious about my stretch marks, my dad who is not a mushy or sentimental acting man at all and usually is more likely to tease shocked me by saying.. Well if you ask me, you should think of those at beauty marks bc you wouldn’t have them if you didnt have those 4 beautiful kids. ” Awwwwww
