Astronaut Space Pack Super Soaking Water Blaster Review {video review}
Does your child love to pretend s/he is an astronaut? Does s/he love to play in the water?!!
My boy is so excited that Summer is here and we can play in the water on hot days. We don’t have A/C in our Jeep (the family’s only vehicle) so when we come home from anywhere, we are so hot!!
I remember last Summer The Boy wanted to play in the water every chance he got and even one day long after the official Summer had left, he decided he wanted to play in the water at his Papa’s house. We didn’t have any extra clothes for him so I told him to strip down to his pull-up, but he stripped completely naked and ran back and forth through the sprinkler for almost an hour!!
This Summer, he’s already showing a bigger interest in water guns so when I found out I could get the Aeromax Space Pack for him to review, I knew he was going to be so excited!!
Aeromax has combined those two things into one awesome new backpack water shooter, the Astronaut Space Pack. This pack shoots up a blast of water up to 30 feet and holds a liter of water. Shoot two directions at once or aim them both at your alien parents!! Strap on the backpack and pretend you’re an astronaut in the house or fill it with water and spray your next-door aliens friends!!
Astronaut Space Pack • $15.95 • Ages 5+ Available July 2012
Like all Aeromax products, attention to detail is paramount with pretend pressure and instrument panels along with adjustable black straps. The modestly priced shooter can be played with or without water for priceless galactic role-playing.
As I figured, he was literally JUMPING when he saw this!! It was all we could do to keep him away from it for a day until we could play with it. He was all set to head over to Papa’s house on Sunday and HAD to have his swimsuit on… I talked Aunt B and K into playing with him (I gave them a heads up the day before) so I could get a good video.
The video is quite a few minutes, but it’s worth it to watch because you get to see the different ways it can shoot.
Pump the gun to shoot.
Pull the trigger and pump to shooting water in two directions.
Shoot water over 30 feet (look for him to shoot the yellow chair ;))
He was having a “blast”!!
You’ll notice at the end of the video that The Boy, B, and K make it around to a shed in my dad’s backyard. B and K were looking at an old push lawnmower (you know, not motorized). I turned the video off because I felt like it was getting a little long…and then it happened…
The Boy hit them both right in the butt, perfect aim, with his water blaster, and scared them both…it was PERFECT!! They jumped and screamed and he laughed so hard I thought he would pee himself!! There was just no way to recreate that moment because of how he caught them off guard.
I have to say that this was the best toy and has been the best start to a Summer of water toys galore!!
How are you staying cool and having fun this Summer?!!

love that this can shoot in more than one direction! so fun!
How awesome! My son recently got a pack of water guns but they’re not nearly as cool as this one. Your son is absolutely adorable.
