Shake your Tushy, Shake your Tushy!! Calling all Curious George Fans!! #CuriousGeorgeMoms

Last Monday was my birthday and I was out of town for work most of the day. When I got home, I picked up Hubby and The Boy and we headed out to pick up dinner and run by my dad's house to pick up my birthday card from my brother. It was raining, I was tired, my boys had been cooped up in the house all day with no way to go anywhere, and I just wanted to get it all over with and be home already!!

Of course, who can go to Granny and Papa's house without taking in The Boy, so I grabbed him up and we ran into the house in the rain. We visited for a few minutes and headed back out to the car to find Hubby had cranked up the radio and was listening to music. I opened the door for The Boy and instead of climbing in…he decided to BUST A MOVE!!

That boy danced circles around me and boogied in the driveway and even make the car hood into a drum – I have no idea where he gets his moves. I have no rhythm and while Hubby may have some moves, he usually just dances silly around us. Hubby and I just looked at each other and instead of getting frustrated, I decided…

Sometimes you just have to stop…and DANCE IN THE RAIN!!

Curious George Announces First-Ever Dance Contest

Does your child love Curious George? Do they love to dance? Have them show off their best monkey moves and exercise their creativity in the first-ever Curious George Dance Contest!

As a child, I always loved Curious George and recently The Boy has begun to notice him. He was surprisingly excited when we found a Curious George book at the Library used books sale for only $0.25!! He also has a book about Curious George in an animal shelter, letting out all of the puppies. That one always makes him giggle. We also recently discovered the cartoon on PBS on the weekends!!

The Curious George television series is in its sixth season on PBS KIDS® and is featuring a focus on the arts, including DANCE!! Dance is a perfect way for kids to be themselves and a great (sneaky for parents) way to get some extra exercise!!
