Pound Puppies: Homeward Pound DVD {Review}

Pound Puppies: Homeward Pound

Just this past weekend, our boy was wanting something new to watch on TV and we came across the Pound Puppies. I was anxious to see if he was going to take to it because I knew this review was coming in the mail. I was thrilled when he loved it, so you can imagine his excitement LAST NIGHT when we opened the package and he saw his newest “prize”!!

My boy loves all animals, but I believe that dogs are his absolute favorite. We have two dogs and he is always rolling around on the floor with them. He just loves them so much. Like I said, we did get a little preview of the show on the HUB this weekend, but when FIVE episodes showed up on DVD of course we had to watch them right away.

These adorable puppies are the Pound Puppies and they are “known worldwide” for helping lost pups find their families. On this DVD, they are able to find a family of five boys for a family of five pups and even found a home for the alien Pug Puppy, Zoltron (he was our fave because we have a pug pup, Abby). We had lots of giggles over this cute/ugly pug who was convinced he was an alien!!

The Boy was excited to hear there were FIVE episodes (that’s his favorite number right now…who know why…) so we had to count them down. Of course, once number five played, he wanted to watch five more, but we’ll have to do that again tonight.

The Pound Puppies series is currently airing on The Hub in the U.S. and YTV in Canada. The DVD release marks the North American home entertainment debut of Hasbro Studios’ hit show.
