International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day!!

Today is International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day!!

It’s a day that only your dogs can appreciate…that is unless you want to go ahead and taste one. We can appreciate the biscuit for pleasing our dogs and appreciate that they help us train our dogs, but really, it’s a day that only dogs can celebrate.

Since your dog can’t go to the store and get some to appreciate (mainly because of the whole “no opposable thumbs” issue), go pick some up and treat your dog to this very special day!!

If you’re feeling especially generous why not make your dog some homemade puppy food?

How are you going to celebrate today?!!

  6. It is amazing that everyday there is something new to celebrate. 🙂 We had a dog for about 7 years and he died of cancer. Oh, how I miss him. We will wait now to get another dog until my Princess is at least 10 I think.

    Thanks for sharing!

  7. He’ll get a nice walk, some tummy scratches… but the only ‘cooked’ food he’ll get is what the 5 yr old drops on the floor. =)
Do lots of people really cook regularly for the pets?

I have no idea!! This is the first I’ve ever seen a recipe for dog food, although I guess it could be good for them if you went organic.. 🙂

Well since I don’t have a dog I’m willing to bet that this day could have gone by completely unnoticed and no one in our house would have cared. I’ll have to tell my girls though so they can tell our neighbor who they walk her dog for ;). I think other than that we’ll leave the dog biscuits to the dogs. I will not be sampling any myself ;).
