Raindrop Dream by Lisa Weidknecht {Review}

Raindrop Dream

You’re learning now that The Boy loves books and he wants to read ALL the time!! We spend a LOT of time reading (and coloring ;))

Now that he is understanding more what the books have to say, I love when we find a book that has a good message and what better to learn about than improving self-esteem and perseverance?!! Lisa Weidknecht – a good bloggy friend of mine – sent me a copy of each of her children’s books to review and this was a package that I was just as excited as The Boy to receive!!

Read my Review of E is for Emotions also!!

Raindrop Dream

Raindrop Dream is a story that teaches perseverance and determination. Readers will also learn concepts about weather, seasons, and the water cycle. Most importantly, children will be inspired to dream big and follow their dreams.

The Boy and I had a BLAST reading this one!!
The story is about a raindrop who really wants to be a snowflake so he hangs on tight to his cloud all through the seasons until Winter…he may or may not get his wish…I’m not spoiling it for you!!
The illustrations is handdrawn (by Lisa) and so ADORABLE!! The little raindrop has the best expressions and since my boy is an expressive child, we have lots of giggles and sound effects when we read this.
This book teaches children so much about LIFE, really…and it’s just so fun to read. 😀
Lisa has offered to giveaway a copy of one of her books during the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway Hop!! (on Day 3 – December 3)
Enter to win a new giveaway every day from December 1 through December 12!! (all giveaways end on December 14)
