Fatty Friday – struggling with addiction

Fatty Friday at GoingCrazy!! WannaGo??!!

Who knows…I’m sure it’s a gain!!

Hubby and I have been bad and I have not felt well…

 

We skipped last Thursday’s weigh-in because we were celebrating our anniversary and then last night I was very sick with stomach cramps so we skipped again.

This is our struggle!!

It’s actually really frustrating to me that I/we continue to struggle to get back into this eating plan. When we started in May 2010, we had so much motivation and support and it was just “easy” to stay on plan and eat healthy. We didn’t have the desire to “cheat” and we had this energy that was fun and it just all felt good.

This time, we have all but given up!! We continue to try, try, try, but ourselves get the best of ourselves… We have an addiction to food that is stronger than any other addiction we could imagine. We feel hungry and weak so we eat something bad which leads to feeling sluggish and tired so we lay around which makes us feel hungry and weak… It’s a horrible, sinful, indulgent cycle that we HAVE. TO. BREAK!!!

I’m hoping this linkup will catch on eventually. I really want to hear how others are doing!! I want to know that you all are having successes for encouragement and hopefully soon I’ll have some successes to encourage you!!

  1. I hope that you meet your goals. Making something new and worthwhile a habit can often be challenging. I struggle with that all the time.
